Dataset summary

The dataset on this page is a cache of the dataset https://www.surreyi.gov.uk/dataset/20xo6. It is a snapshot of the dataset as it appeared on 11 Apr 2021 20:28 GMT. The current dataset could have changed in the meantime. Attribution: Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence.

Pupils with SEN provided information on their primary need and, if appropriate, their secondary need. Information on primary need only is given here. Changes to dataset in 2015 Data for 2013 and 2014 includes only pupils with SEN statements or those on School Action Plus. From 2015 SEN support replaced school action and school action plus and data now includes all pupils with SEN. This causes a discontinuity in the data. Social Emotional and Mental Health was added as a new type in 2015, the previous type of Behaviour, Emotional and Social Difficulties has been removed although it is not expected it should be a direct replacement. A new code was added in 2015 for those who are yet to be assessed for type of need. This may include some who have transferred from School Action to SEN support. Includes pupils who are sole or dual main registrations. National and regional totals and totals across Local Authorities have been rounded to the nearest 5.
